Ronald McDonald House Christmas Fantasy House is ex-UWM Alumni House

The former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Alumni House, which just served as the Breast Cancer Showhouse, will also serve as the Christmas Fantasy House. It's now a private home.

If at any time there was a home that lent itself to Xmas decorations, it’s the former UWM Alumni House, positioned on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, just north of Lake Park and Lincoln Memorial Generate.

Now owned by entrepreneur and philanthropist Andy Nunemaker, the 25,000-sq.-foot solitary-spouse and children house has 10 fireplaces that would be fantastic for garland and candles. Three flooring are stuffed with rooms huge adequate to accommodate huge Xmas trees, and the home’s exterior and roofline would glance spectacular decorated with holiday break lights.

And it’s this year’s Christmas Fantasy Household a fundraising party for Ronald McDonald Home Charities of Japanese Wisconsin, which presents a area to continue to be and help for family members when their little ones are addressed for critical illnesses.

Nikki Bruneau, media coordinator, mentioned the celebration will operate from Oct. 29 to Nov. 6 but will be shut Wednesday, Nov. 2.
