Last month, French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance and online marketplace The Invisible Collection debuted an exhibition of furniture pieces at Sotheby’s New York City. The selection comprises pieces designed over a five year span between, between 2017 and 2022, and holds 21 limited-edition collections that were originally designed for private commissions. They’re now exclusively available through The Invisible Collection.
“This collection was born out of a search for a sense of harmony… I like the idea of a domestic landscape, each object has its singularity while being part of a whole,” shares Duchaufour-Lawrance. Each piece is the result of his work with artisans, noble materials, and different typologies. The running theme throughout is fluid, organic lines that bring landscape views to mind.
This collection follows collaborations between Duchaufour-Lawrance and industry leaders such as Montblanc, Baccarat, Hermès, and more.
