Jersey Shore condo to Beach Townhouse Update

Hi there strangers!  Here I am to clear out the cobwebs of this dusty corner of the interwebs to bring you an update.  Last drop we moved out of our seaside rental and moved down the street into a beach front townhouse. (Im still incredibly a lot dwelling in Brooklyn and I will in no way leave NYC so no problems there!) It’s not very a proper “Beach House” but receiving at any time so a great deal nearer to living my Nancy Meyers / Diane Keaton A thing Has Obtained to Give desires – at least on the weekends and in New Jersey.  Ok it’s possible it’s extra Snooki than Diane Keaton but permit me have my fantansies!

Though we generally planned on creating some (alright, a large amount of) modifications, we considered we could wait around a 12 months or two to tackle all those.  It failed to get extensive to notice individuals options had been going out the window and specified points experienced to adjust promptly.  One detail lead to another, yada, yada, yada…and we had been in whole renovation method.

Thanks to covid and offer chain and a lot of other very little bitty items that insert up, we have been functioning on the world’s slowest renovation ever.  Thankfully we are at any time so little by little having towards the finish line of our original jobs and I’m psyched to share those with you.  

Now you are all caught up.  For people of you who observe me on instagram or tiktok you by now know all this so many thanks for looking at.  For those people of you are however blog site only visitors, I hope you nonetheless remember me.

We have concluded 2 toilet renovations and are virtually completed with the kitchen area.  But these involve a great deal additional backstory.  So let us shut out present day post with a hyperlapse video clip of the Mr. & I in our pajamas earning our patio into a smaller outdoor dwelling home (even though our indoor dwelling area is torn to shreds!).

Not heading to lie. Im genuinely happy with how this turned out even with it staying just a random selection of pieces I located at massive box shops. It actually usually takes this little patio from dead outside space to outside dwelling area.
