House featured on popular HGTV show lists in South Carolina
A beautifully chic house that was featured on Season 3 of HGTV’s popular show “Rock the Block” has hit the real estate market in Summerville, South Carolina, for $1.25 million.
The show, which is an exclusive program on Discovery+, features home renovation pros divided into four teams who compete to win the highest house appraisal value during a single season. This particular house was the brainchild of Jenny and Dave Marrs from HGTV’s “Fixer to Fabulous” and while it didn’t nab the top prize, it’s still pretty spectacular.
The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home has a light, airy feel thanks to its open floor plan and creative storage space.
“The design is impressive,” real estate agent Cedric Stewart said, according to Realtor.com, “especially the amount of built-in storage options, which are seldom seen in new construction these days, unfortunately.”
Windows allow light to flow in throughout the home’s 3,150 square feet — especially when it comes to the kitchen area. Other features stand out thanks to the imagination of both designers.
“What really stands out is the craftsmanship,” the home’s listing agent Jason Harper told Realtor. “A lot of the items in the home were made by hand by Dave Marrs himself, like the floating bench in the living room, the trundle bed (in the finished room over the garage), and the dining room table.”
Other highlights of the home include:
Summerville is about 25 miles northwest of Charleston.
